The Spine Summit
On June 30, 2022, JDC held the first Spine Summit in partnership with the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia to create awareness and establish a Spine Deformity Center in Ethiopia.
For over 34 years, Dr. Rick Hodes, JDC’s Medical Director in Ethiopia, has treated thousands of patients with spinal deformities, providing medical care for complex cases that would otherwise be inaccessible. During the event, the Ethiopian Ministry of Health honored and awarded Dr. Rick Hodes for tirelessly saving Ethiopian lives.
